Clinical trials
Clinical trials are research studies that test new ways to detect, treat or manage cancer.
How can a member of the clinical trials team help me?
Clinical trial teams are made up of doctors, nurses, pharmacists, radiation therapists, research assistants and other health-care team members. The team can help to support you during your treatment. This includes monitoring your health during the clinical trial; helping you understand what will happen during the clinical trial; and answering any questions you may have.
To obtain more information about clinical trials:
Ask your doctor or health-care team if there is a clinical trial for you.
